Founded by Paul R. Rossi, CFA, a fee-only fiduciary wealth advisor based in El Dorado Hills, California, serving executives, business owners, and high-net-worth families across the country.
After enough years inside the financial industry, the structural problems start to feel less like exceptions and more like the design. Most advisors are paid by the products they sell. Most large firms run on sales quotas and corporate goals that have nothing to do with any individual client. In fact, they run counter to what’s best for the client. Most investors pay layered, opaque fees, are given suboptimal advice, and feel their needs are not being met.
Rossi Financial Group exists as a deliberate alternative to that model, a fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm with no commissions, no third-party payments, no kickbacks, no sponsor incentives. Compensation comes from clients and only from clients. That single structural decision changes the nature of every recommendation that follows from it.
The firm is boutique on purpose, clients work directly with a CFA charterholder. Sophisticated investment thinking delivered through a highly personal advisory relationship.
The combination below is intentional. Each credential addresses a specific dimension of the work, investment rigor, ethical structure, real estate fluency, and the unusual complex financial lives of clients in sports and entertainment. None of them, on their own, is the practice. Together, they are.
Trust is the single most important factor in any successful relationship, and it has to be earned. Working as a fiduciary means I have a legal and ethical obligation to put my clients’ interests ahead of my own, not as a slogan, but as the actual structure of how every recommendation is made.
What I enjoy most about this work is helping people look at their finances from a different perspective, applying the kind of analytical tools usually reserved for institutions to optimize a portfolio around my clients actual life and goals. When that work is done well, our clients are confident and rest easy. They know their portfolio has been built to endure the unavoidable shocks in the system when the math will keep working regardless of what the market is doing.

Paul holds the Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (SE-AWMA) designation, reflecting specialized expertise in serving the unique financial needs of athletes and entertainment professionals. In careers where significant wealth is often earned over a relatively short period, thoughtful well designed plan is essential. His approach combines institutional-quality investment management, evidence-based decision making, and highly personalized advice, providing clear objective guidance during some of the most important financial years of a client’s life.
Professional athletes, entertainers, and performers often face unique financial complexities not found in many other professions. Managing concentrated wealth requires thoughtful planning, disciplined investing, and strategic decision-making—because the choices made today shape financial independence for decades to come.
Paul is married and a very busy father, whose evenings tend to involve homework, childrens’ sports, and a fair amount of friendly chaos. When the day winds down, his attention turns to the disciplines that have shaped him for decades.
He has spent more than thirty years training and teaching a Chinese-based martial art, holds a black belt, and has instructed law enforcement and military personnel in techniques designed for real-world application. The cognitive habits the discipline reinforces, patience, deliberate practice, and calm under pressure, show up regularly in his approach to planning and investing.
More recently, a Stanford Online course on Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity sparked a lasting curiosity about astrophysics and modern physics; he is currently working through (slowly, by his own admission) the General Theory of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics. When the books are closed, he can usually be found in the garage, currently working on his 1969 Camaro.
